During my career, I’ve worked in various dental.alig roles, offices and
locations around the world. Over that time, I have come to truly enjoy working with children –
especially when I can turn them into fans of going to the dentist!
A Pediatric Dentist is entrusted to educate parents & patients. This education builds a foundation of good oral habits that promotes lifelong health. I take this trust to heart in all I do for my patients.
My research has been published on the subject of chemotherapy effects on tooth enamel for which I am a recipient of the 2014 3M ESPE Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children research fellowship grant.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, along with my extended family. I also enjoy diverse food, travel and culture. I’m always happy to share stories of my travel adventures and early life in Peru – so if you ever want tips on travel there, just ask!
While in high school and college, I began working as a children’s fitness
instructor at the YMCA. It was that experience that I realized I enjoyed working with children and
the importance of encouraging healthy habits in youth. In dental school, I served as a coordinator
and provider for the Give Kids a Smile Program which helped organize dental care for hundreds of
children of all backgrounds, ages and special needs. My primary goal is to create a comfortable,
enjoyable and trusting dental environment for children and parents. I take pride in creating a
positive experience and laying a good foundation of oral health knowledge for my families!
